As founding and Senior Pastor of the New Beginnings Church I want to express my deepest gratitude to you for taking the time to visit our web page.  This site is intended to give you a glimpse of all the wonderful things that God is doing in and through New Beginnings. 
 
New Beginnings is a church where we will put our arms around you and walk through life with you.  We will laugh when it's time to laugh and we will cry together when it's time to cry.

About the Pastor

Pastor Joseph R. Fields is a man called by God, and affirmed by the Church including local and nationwide ministries. He is biblically studious, disciplined, energetic, and a visionary.  Pastor Fields possesses a record of service, a heart of humility, and a model of family leadership.  As a preacher of the Gospel and a proven follower, this servant-leader was called to plant New Beginnings.  Pastor Fields served as Youth Minister at Westside Baptist Church for seven years and has served as the Director of Camp Exalted for the Baptist General Convention of Texas for several years.  He also serves as a Ministry Multiplier for Lifeway Publication where he travels the country teaching Youth Ministry Development and Church Leadership curriculum. 

Pastor Fields embarked upon studies at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth Texas where he earned his Degree (Dip.Th) and his Advanced Theology (Adv.Dip.Th).  Currently he is enrolled at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where he is pursuing his Masters of Divinity.
